Kenya Remains Open for Tourism Amid Regional Ebola Monitoring

Kenya continues to welcome visitors as health authorities strengthen preparedness measures following recent Ebola cases reported in parts of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to the Ministry of Health, Kenya has not recorded any Ebola cases. Surveillance at airports, border points, and other entry routes has been enhanced to ensure early detection and rapid response if needed.

Tourism activities across the country remain unaffected, with destinations such as the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, Tsavo, Diani, Watamu, and Nairobi operating normally. Hotels, lodges, airlines, and tour operators continue to serve travelers without disruption.

Health officials have urged the public and travelers to rely on official information sources and avoid misinformation. The government continues to work closely with regional and international health partners to monitor the situation and maintain public safety.

Kenya remains a safe and welcoming destination, and the tourism sector continues to operate with confidence while authorities maintain vigilance and preparedness.
